An educational and fun experience for the whole family to learn about Florida’s rich ranching history.

The agricultural industry is made up of hard working individuals who labor tirelessly day-in and day-out. It is important to come together as an ag community to appreciate the talent of our fellow farmers and ranchers and celebrate the rich agricultural history of Florida. On September 28-29 the Florida Ranch Rodeo and Cowboy Heritage Festival is an event full of fun and excitement for the whole family, and is the 11th annual fundraiser for the Florida Cattlemen’s Association.

The fundraiser is more than a competition, it is a family-friendly event where you can learn about cattle and Florida’s rich ranching history. The proceeds raised from the event will help fund Florida Cattlemen’s Association’s mission to support the promotion of Florida’s cattle heritage, research, leadership development, and youth activities.

The Florida Ranch Rodeo event will take place at the Silver Spurs Arena in Osceola Heritage Park located in Kissimmee, FL. Tickets are available for $10 for attendees age 10 and over, and children under 10 get in in for free. The Florida Ranch Rodeo finals are scheduled to begin at 7 PM on Friday and Saturday, with a variety of other events taking place over the course of the two-day event. The accompanying Cowboy Heritage Festival is free for all ages and is a fun and engaging opportunity to learn and celebrate Florida’s ranching history. Moreover, the festival will have living history exhibits where attendees can meet people of Florida’s cowboy past and gain better insight to the world and lifestyle they lived. There will also be various arts and crafts displays offering a colorful and educational experience.
