Client Relations Manager

The Client Relations Manager will be responsible for building long-term relationships with farmers, ranchers and landowners on behalf of AgAmerica Lending. This person will be responsible for answering incoming calls, emails, etc. and assisting as needed. This person will love working one-on-one with clients, fulfilling their needs, and building personal relationships. The Client Relations Manager will have extraordinary people skills that will allow them to proactively help clients while promoting the AgAmerica brand. This person will be able to turn a commonplace call or email into a memorable one by providing unforgettable service. This person will need to meet with clients in-person on a farm or ranch setting as applicable. This person will work closely with multiple departments to build, maintain, and grow relationships and perform unparalleled ongoing service for all clients.    

To be considered for the position, the candidate will need a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, education, agriculture or related field with proven skills working directly with clients. This position will work hand-in-hand with all departments and be able to effectively strategize to accommodate the needs of AgAmerica’s clients.    The person must be a highly motivated problem solver that is comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position will report to the Associate Director of Client Relations and work out of the AgAmerica West office in Boise, Idaho.

  • Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt
  • Compensation:  Competitive salary, benefits package, and bonus structure
  • Additional Requirements: Nation-wide overnight travel 2-3 weeks per year

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building and maintaining personal relationships with clients
  • Proficiently answer incoming communications and engage with clients to determine their need
  • Develop strong knowledge base of AgAmerica lending products
  • Conduct in-person, on-farm visits as necessary
  • Recognize opportunities for new business through relationships with current clients
  • Utilize databases, software and tracking tools appropriately to maintain complete client portfolio
  • Escalate client concerns as necessary to multiple departments to resolve efficiently
  • Coordinate servicing needs from existing client
  • Coordinate receipt of necessary items from clients such as payments, covenants, maturity dates, etc.
  • Achieve goals and KPI’s as set by the Director of Business Development
  • Promote AgAmerica by attending events and conferences
  • Take part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company and position

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, agriculture or related field
  • Experience working in a client facing role or managing client relationships
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Salesforce
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with clients
