Financial Analyst

AgAmerica Lending is one of the largest, non-bank agricultural land lenders and loan servicers in the United States, offering a spectrum of loan programs that support long-term production and success for farmers, ranchers, and landowners. The Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Strategic Finance and will be responsible for due diligence, fund treasury functions, maintaining loan pricing, and building out policies and procedures. AgAmerica, a high growth company with increasing daily fund volume, is looking for a candidate to provide best in class, sophisticated analysis of data and risk.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with strategic finance initiatives and corporate development activity
  • Assist with fund treasury functions, including execution of financing structures, collateral optimization tactics, and covenant compliance
  • Due diligence readiness and responsiveness for fund investors, securitization investors, rating agencies, etc.
  • Assist with buildout of Capital Markets function
  • Participate in development and maintenance of loan pricing guidelines
  • Assist with creation and execution of controls, policies and procedures around key areas of responsibility
  • Maintain documentation & reporting surrounding REIT compliance and portfolio valuation
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting on investment performance and other factors
  • Other duties/projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics, required; Master’s degree, preferred
  • CFA or CPA also desirable
  • 2-3 years professional experience as a financial analyst or experience in corporate or investment banking

Travel and Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
