Financial Reporting Manager

AgAmerica Lending is one of the largest, non-bank agricultural land lenders and loan servicers in the United States, offering a spectrum of loan programs that support long-term production and success for farmers, ranchers, and landowners. The Company’s Accounting arm is seeking a seasoned accounting and finance professional to join the team as Financial Reporting Manager. This person will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Candidates must possess strong attention to detail, be highly organized, and must be comfortable working for a fast-paced, high-growth company with an eye toward improving processes and procedures to enable the company to continue to effectively scale at a rapid pace and improve processes and efficiencies.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements.
• Prepare year-end GAAP financial statements and footnotes for the Company’s four sets of audited financial statements.
• Monthly operational reporting (KPIs, management reports, etc.) – combination of preparer/reviewer.
• Responsible for the annual budget process, quarterly forecast updates to the annual budget, and monthly reporting of budget comparison reports to management.  Work closely with leaders throughout the company in fulfilling this responsibility.
• Collaborate closely with accounting and support all month-end related processes to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of delivering financial results.
• Monitor and report on covenants, ratios, and other financial related compliance requirements.
• Prepare and manage licensing renewal applications, serving as point person with third party partners for gathering financial information reported in these filings (compliance consultant, lawyers, etc.).
• Act as project lead on accounting system buildout, including enhanced reporting and additional user functionality.
• Assist in detailed review of consolidated monthly close and ensure accurate consolidation.
• Act as administrator for accounting system – role setup, add new GL accounts, create new users, periodically review user access, manage access, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years of related work experience
• Detail-oriented and highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP preferable
