The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with month end close process, journal entries, accounts payable, and daily accounting tasks to support the Accounting & Finance team. The individual must possess strong attention to detail, be highly organized, and be capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monthly journal entries
  • Month-end close
  • Assist with AP transactions
  • Daily accounting duties in accordance with GAAP
  • Account reconciliations
  • General Ledger maintenance
  • Prepare accounting workpapers
  • Handle fixed assets
  • Assist with improving and building processes
  • Assist with information requests from outside audit firm for interim and annual audit testing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Completion of an accounting internship
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized individual
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
