Relationship Manager with AgAmerica – Rachel Cashdollar
Learn How One of Our Team Members Went from Growing Christmas Trees to Nurturing Financial Solutions
Rachel Cashdollar is a Relationship Manager with AgAmerica, and she knows her way around a farm. She was raised in Pennsylvania where her family devotes their agribusiness to growing Christmas trees. The tree farm was started in 1998 by her father because it was important to him that every family be able to afford the tradition of having a real Christmas tree. So Cashdollar Farm and Nursery was born, with the mission of “making it possible for every family to have an affordable tree.” The tree farm has since become a beloved part of many families’ holiday traditions, with customers returning year after year to enjoy excellent service and reasonable prices.
When visiting Cashdollar Farm and Nursery, customers share in the “tree cookie” tradition. From a cut tree, the bottom sliver is referred to as a “tree cookie.” The Cashdollars decorate their tree cookie each year and add it to the display of tree cookies from previous years. They are proud to share this special tradition with their customers.
Coming to Florida from Pennsylvania is a big change, especially in the agriculture arena. “The weather, more than you would think, affects an operation. You definitely have to plan differently for your operation, whether you are growing Christmas trees, row crops, or raising cattle,” Rachel points out. She feels embraced by the local community here, and by the AgAmerica team, and is glad to call Florida home now.
