Brett Costine joined the AgAmerica Lending team in January of 2018 where he serves as a Credit Analyst.
Brett is a seventh-generation Floridian and comes from a family entwined with the state’s agricultural history. He attended the University of Florida where he studied Food and Resource Economics. Brett was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, the Ag Economics Club, and the university’s National Agri-Marketing Association team.
He has worked in a diverse array of agribusinesses including the University of Florida Dairy Research Unit, a farm and ranch store, and an internship with the Archer Daniels Midland Company where he later became an Operations Management Trainee. During his time at ADM, Brett worked in South Georgia with the ADM subsidiary Golden Peanut and Tree Nuts in peanut buying points and at a peanut shelling plant. He also had the opportunity to work in both Columbus, NE and in Cordele, GA at ADM Animal Nutrition feed mills.
Outside of his professional life, Brett enjoys the outdoors – particularly hunting and fishing – and can be found fueling his passion for fishing year-round. He is also an avid Gators fan and follows the football, baseball, and basketball teams throughout the seasons.
