Harrison Edwards is an Intake Coordinator for AgAmerica, joining the team in October 2020. He is a graduate from the University of Florida with a B.S. in agricultural education and communication.
Harrison has deep ties to the agricultural community that date back into his early childhood. Born and raised in Florida He is the sixth generation on his family’s citrus and cattle farm. He carried this personal experience into his collegiate career where he spent time working on an 18,000-acre potato farm in South Carolina as a quality control intern. He is also a member of Alpha Gamma Rho—a fraternity based in a common bond of a dynamic and global agricultural community with a commitment to foster values of lifelong personal development and professional success.
Throughout his time at UF, Harrison was a Laboratory Technician at the Biosecurity Research and Extension Lab. Upon graduation, he completed the Cal-Maine Foods management trainee program before assuming his role as an Assistant Project Manager for Metro Development Group where he installed solar street lights in the surrounding communities.
As an Intake Coordinator for AgAmerica Lending, Harrison uses his agricultural roots to effectively assist farmers, ranchers, and rural landowners with financing inquiries and prequalify prospective clients. His comprehensive knowledge of the ups and downs of agribusinesses motivates him to pinpoint each operation’s specific needs with both professionalism and understanding.
