Jeff Worthen joined the AgAmerica Lending team in October of 2018 as the Director of Fund Finance & Analytics. Jeff brings over nine years of experience in fund/investor accounting, mortgage lending, and financial reporting. Prior to AgAmerica he served as a Controller for Prime Capital Advisors, a residential distressed debt buyer, loan advisor, and investment manager. During his time at Prime Capital Advisors, he was responsible for all financial reporting, servicer and vendor oversight, investor reporting, fund accounting, finance, treasury, capital markets, and analytics.
Jeff began his career at Clayton Fixed Income Services (owned by Clayton Holdings) in credit risk management and was responsible for monitoring over 3 billion in Sub-Prime and Alt-A residential mortgage -backed securities. He actively worked to reduce loss severities and improve bond security performance by resolving both systemic and non-systemic reporting and servicing issues. Jeff has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Florida and is currently working towards his second degree in Accounting.
During his free time he enjoys boating, fishing, sports, hunting, and hiking. He lives in Plant City, FL with his wife and two daughters.
