Jonathan Boothby is an Agricultural Loan Closer for AgAmerica, joining the team in June 2020. He holds two A.S. degrees from Valencia College, one in transactional law and the other in litigation. Jon is also a bonded notary for the state of Florida.
Jon is a trained paralegal, dating back to 2014. He completed an A.B.A. approved paralegal education program and has substantial professional experience in commercial and residential real estate law. During his time as a paralegal, Jon prepared numerous legal documents, produced final title policies for closings, and performed in-depth research in Florida Non-Judicial Foreclosure statutes. Additional office management responsibilities in this role included electronic filing, scheduling, and accounting for the firm.
Beyond his professional background, Jon is an active member in his community. He is a member of Knights of Columbus and is a volunteer for the Wounded Warriors Project, a non-profit organization created to empower and honor American veterans.
As a Commercial Loan Closer, Jon is responsible for the preparation and assembly of required financial documents to better assist borrowers through the loan closing process. His legal background and acute attention to detail makes him a valuable member of the AgAmerica team and a helpful resource of expertise for the clients we serve.
