Lauren Kiley is the Director of Human Resources and Development, joining the AgAmerica team in November 2019. She earned her B.S. in Communication with honors from Florida State University and her Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
Prior to her role at AgAmerica, Lauren practiced corporate transactional law for an innovative law firm that provided strategic legal counsel to high-growth companies. Specifically, Lauren advised middle market companies across a diverse range of industries on employment law and human relations matters encompassing contracting, compliance, and policy, as well as in the technology, data privacy, strategic financial, and corporate governance fields.
Earlier in her career, Lauren was a trial prosecutor and appellate attorney; she also has experience in the mortgage industry and worked in the Transactions Management Capital Markets Department of Nomura Securities’ London Office.
Lauren’s role at AgAmerica is a vital one as she is responsible for ensuring that AgAmerica’s company culture—putting the farmer first—is implemented cohesively across AgAmerica’s different departments. She is also tasked with ensuring human resources compliance and development, managing recruitment, and executing special projects relating to employment law and human resources given AgAmerica’s continued, sustained growth. In addition to directing the Human Resources Department, Lauren will leverage her legal background to assist with and help execute various company initiatives.
