Leah Hauserman is a Credit Analyst at AgAmerica, joining the team in August 2020. She graduated from Stetson University with a double major in finance and economics and is a Level III CFA Candidate.
Leah was actively involved on her campus as a member of numerous honor societies including Omicron Delta Epsilon Economics, Beta Alpha Psi Finance and Accounting, Phi Eta Sigma Academic, the Business Ethics International Case Competition Team, and the Stetson Entrepreneurial Group. As a student, she was an economics and finance tutor where she assisted collegiate classmates in understanding and applying the concepts in micro and macroeconomics. In her senior year, she was a security analyst, lab assistant, and an elected member of the Board of Trustees for the Roland George Investments Program, Stetson University’s student-run endowment fund.
She entered the professional finance industry in 2017 while a student with an internship at PCE Investment Bankers. Her responsibilities included financial statement modeling, public company analysis, comparable transaction analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, and writing quarterly industry reports. Prior to AgAmerica, Leah worked at WellCare Health Plans as an Investment Analyst and was promoted to a Senior Investment Analyst in 2019. It was during this time she advanced her knowledge of portfolio risk, performance analyses, and new asset class research.
As a Credit Analyst for AgAmerica, Leah uses her expertise in institutional investment management for financial analyses and detailed reporting writing for the agribusiness customer base. She works closely with Relationship Managers to assist in the transaction structure and prepares recommendations to program partners as applicable. She prioritizes risk management in order to ensure AgAmerica can solidify the best financial structure for our clients.
