Max Davis joined AgAmerica Lending in January 2020. He is the Institutional Business Development Director for the West Coast headquarters. After graduating from Boise State with a B.A. in History, Max pursued a career in the U.S. Army Special Forces.
He was deployed as a “Green Beret” to multiple countries in Southeast Asia and Afghanistan. He is a special operations combat veteran and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star with Valor for his service. As a U.S. Special Forces leader, Max gained rich experience in complex operational planning. He executed sophisticated, multi-faceted operations in ambiguous environments and was able to accomplish measurable results under pressure. He has a comprehensive background in operations planning, cross-team dynamics, and advanced casualty care, derived from conducting domestic and global assignments. He is now a member of the Special Forces Association and Veterans Association in Idaho.
As the Institutional Business Development Director for AgAmerica West, Max spearheads the growth and development of AgAmerica Lending across the West Coast. In this role, he most enjoys building genuine and organic relationships with a variety of people involved in agricultural operations, from hobby farms to multimillion-dollar entities.
Max was raised in a small town in Idaho and grew up surrounded by the timber industry. His childhood instilled a deep respect for the hardworking people in agriculture at a young age. Once his military career came to an end, he sought to return to his roots with a career in agriculture. He is proud to be part of a company that empowers farmers and ranchers to keep our nation fed.
