Morgan Sass is a Senior Credit Analyst for AgAmerica, joining the company in September 2020. She graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. degree in Agricultural Education and earned her M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina in 2010. Morgan also graduated from the South Carolina Bankers School in 2019.
Agriculture has remained at the forefront of Morgan’s educational and professional career. Her undergraduate degree in agricultural education exposed her to a variety of agricultural fields including horticulture, agronomy, forestry, natural resources, and animal science. She was also an active member of the South Carolina Farm Bureau’s Young Farmer & Rancher program. After graduation, Morgan worked as a County Extension Agent for seven years with Clemson University where she focused on horticulture and 4H.
Prior to AgAmerica, Morgan was a credit analyst for AgSouth Farm Credit for seven years who focused on poultry and row crops loans that included corn, cotton, soybeans, and peanuts. It was during this time she developed her expertise in agricultural finance along with a deeper appreciation for American farmers and their essential role in our society.
As a Senior Credit Analyst for AgAmerica Lending, Morgan is responsible for assessing credit requests and producing financing recommendations based on her inspection. Implementing her background in both agriculture and financial analysis, Morgan conducts a thorough analysis of financial documentation in order to formulate customized financing solutions for the clients she serves.
