Will Messina is the Assistant Director of Institutional Business Development at AgAmerica Lending. He joined the team in August 2018 and is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned a B.A.Sc. in Finance with a minor in Agricultural and Natural Resource Law. In college, Will served as the Vice President of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. He was also a member of the UF Real Estate Society and awarded the William E. Rion Outstanding Graduate Award as a member of Florida Blue Key.
Prior to AgAmerica, Will worked for TD Bank as a Credit Analyst. He was responsible for financial modeling of complex business decisions for large, national healthcare systems. Will analyzed and performed underwriting and risk analysis of debt issuances for loan packages ranging from $250 million to $1 billion. He provided annual reviews and ensured loans were in compliance with credit standards.
It was during this time Will completed a 4-week XP3RT Network analyst training course for corporate investment banking and private equity in New York, NY. He received certificates in Excel modeling, business writing, and business speaking. This further development of his expertise in financial analysis and loan structuring sparked Will’s interest in delving into the relationship side of the industry.

Using his extensive background in financial analysis, Will takes the time to understand the unique perspective of each client and prioritizes finding progressive solutions when creating customized loan packages to best fit their needs.
