AgAmerica to Attend the Southeast Vegetable & Fruit Expo in North Carolina
On December 14-15, the North Carolina Vegetable Growers Association will host its 33rd Annual Southeast Vegetable & Fruit Expo in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The conference will feature educational sessions discussing topics such as, pickling cucumber production, sweet potato production, tomato & pepper production, seedless watermelon, food safety, and more.
Featured speakers include American Vegetable Grower Magazine’s Editor, Carol Miller, who will give the opening keynote speech, Dr. Thomas Dobbins, Director of Cooperative Extension at Clemson discussing bacterial management on fruit, and Dr. David Monks, Director NCARS at NC State University speaking on weed management.
Following Friday’s sessions will be a banquet, live auction, and entertainment form music artist Jonathan Parker. This conference offers learning and networking opportunities for fruit and vegetable farmers and producers of any size operation.
