American Farmer: Jaxyn Wheatley
The Next Generation of Female Ranchers
Sixteen-year-old Jaxyn is a hard-working, ranch teenager. Jax spends 3+ hours of her summer days moving pipe and raising her steers. As a sixth-generation Idaho farmer and rancher, the ranch life is one she doesn’t take for granted. From watching a new-born calf come into the world, to herding cattle with her father and grandfather, she recognizes the work ethic that is instilled in her and hopes it’s something she’ll carry with her throughout her life.
