The Talent Communications Coordinator will facilitate internal company communication as it pertains to employees, leadership, and the Talent department, to ensure that employees are familiar with the organization’s mission, goals, policies, and expectations. This role will assist with execution, adoption and sustainment of ongoing strategies and solutions as it relates to Talent internal communications. This role will also be responsible for administrative duties related to the operations of the Talent department.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serves as the liaison and spokesperson for the Talent Team, providing collaborative guidance on integrated communication strategies to build employee morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Assists Talent team in conveying notifications and postings related to employee affairs.
  • Communicates initiatives and deadlines to employees in a variety of print, digital, and interpersonal ways; tasks may include creating and publishing company newsletters, calendars, blogs and Intranet posts, and hosting meetings.
  • Manages the internal shared emails for the Talent department, responding to questions and concerns or relaying to the appropriate team member or other department as needed.
  • Assists with the administrative parts, such as delivery and tracking of employee morale and retention initiatives such as performance evaluations, incentive programs, career development meetings, employee surveys, and exit interviews.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in employee retention, morale, recognition, productivity, and incentives.
  • Promotes and attends special events and functions; promotes and reports on corporate milestones and activities such as company goals and projects; new products or services; community service activities; and new hires, promotions, and retirements.
  • Schedules and organizes appointments; takes minutes during talent and internal communications related meetings; handles logistics as relates to company-wide events and announcements.
  • Proofreads and types documents and correspondence produced by department.
  • Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
