The Millennial generation has revolutionized the way industries perform and produce products, including agriculture. At around 92 million people, Millennials represent more than one-half of the U.S. workforce.

As farm succession continues to grow, the shift in leadership and farm management falls more heavily under the hand of this new generation. Their propensity for technology is the most distinguishing feature of this generation, which has already had a positive effect on farm operations. Being inclined to utilize new technology, this generation is finding ways to use technology to increase productivity with fewer resources, like manual labor.
