As the Manager, Production Operations, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the efficiency and performance of our Production team. This candidate will be responsible for assessing the performance and needs of the Production team, and proactively providing process enhancements and solutions based off this information. This individual will be a core member of the Production team and internal committees and will be expected to foster alignment between team needs and organizational goals.

Successful candidates will showcase strong problem-solving skills, adeptly identifying challenges within the Production team’s operations to implement effective and scalable solutions and drive continuous improvement and revenue generation. This person should demonstrate strong communication skills, acting as a liaison between the Production team and other departments to ensure the seamless implementation of process improvements. The individual in this role will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful changes within the team and across the organization and broaden their perspective through collaboration with diverse operational roles.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review data and provide summarized reports that highlight the strengths and weaknesses within the team’s operations.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies within the Production team and develop strategic and scalable solutions. 
  • Recommend and implement changes based on KPI findings within the Production team, ensuring a smooth transition and fostering a cohesive implementation through clear and effective communication. 
  • Create reports and recommend improvements within our CRM software, Salesforce, based on team needs and information gaps.
  • Identify friction points between the Production team and other departments, ensuring key stakeholder’s perspectives are considered to develop the most effective solution.
  • Iterate on existing resources, including Onboarding, Educational, and Policy and Procedure documents, to enhance their effectiveness and relevance based on current operations.
  • Collaborate with other internal roles, advocating for the needs of the Production team while considering the broader impact of suggestions and recommendations.
  • Create and maintain working memory documents that serve as job aids and onboarding resources, contributing to the development of current and future Production team members.
  • Act as a communication bridge, engaging in cross-departmental conversations to ensure a clear understanding of process improvement recommendations and how they may impact the business as a whole.
  • Consistently collaborate with Production team members to receive feedback and identify the additional needs of the team. 
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, agriculture, or related field.
  • At least 3 years relevant experience working in financial services, operations, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Salesforce preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with internal team members.
